AYF-YOARF Statement on Azerbaijan Aggression Against Nagorno-Karabakh

In recent days, the lives of Armenians residing in Nagorno-Karabakh have been placed in danger because of attacks on the border by Azerbaijan. The citizens of Nagorno-Karabakh have experienced heightened warfare after Azerbaijan has yet again violated the 20-year-old ceasefire that exists between the two countries.

The AYF-YOARF Eastern Region’s attention and thoughts are with our brothers and sisters in the Republic who are needlessly caught in unwanted conflict. Soldiers have taken to the front lines to defend Karabakh’s civilians as this escalating situation continues to draw attention worldwide. The AYF calls on international leaders, including the OSCE Minsk Group, to take proper action in resolving the tensions.
