 ARF-YOC North American Tri-Regional Seminar June 11-14, 2009

The AYF Eastern Region Central Executive, in conjunction with the AYF Western Region (AYF-WR) and Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Youth of Canada (ARF-YOC), has started preparations for the 2009 AYF Tri-Regional Seminar.

The 2009 AYF Tri-Regional Seminar will be hosted by the ARF-YOC. Consequently, it will be held near Montreal, Canada at the "Camp Kinkora" Campgrounds June 11 - 14th, 2009. Any member interested in attending, should notify the Central Executive by May 1, 2009. Details on the application fee will be provided at a later time. Please contact the CE via:

Email (ce@ayf.org) with subject "attn: tri-regional seminar"
Phone (267.249.1232) to contact U. Anthony Deese

For those who are not familiar with the event, an AYF Tri-Regional Seminar may be described as Junior Seminar for Seniors from all over the United States and Canada. The event is held at a camp. Participants sleep in cabins and are expected to attend lectures daily. However, they also have the opportunity to make tons of new friends. The organizing committee has already begun preparing a social program for attendees. The tri-regional participants will be treated to a tour of Montreal and its surrounding areas as well as a series of evening socials. The real purpose of the event is to bring the AYF members together and give them the opportunity to meet and interact.

For those who enjoy Junior Seminar, this is an excellent opportunity. It is the opportunity to participate in a program of a similar nature but aimed at our senior members. It is the opportunity to participate in a more mature (and less restricted) lecture and social program. It is a great opportunity to learn as well as have fun.

The CE asks that all members make attendance a high priority. The Tri-Regional Seminar is a very important part of the AYF experience, one which only occurs once or twice in a decade. All chapter executives should begin planning for members to attend as a group. They should also begin to explore travel to and from Montreal, Canada.

Please forward any questions to the Central Executive. Details regarding application fee will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
