The Central Executive would like to remind you all that there is less than one month left until the Chained for Change rally sponsored by the AYF Eastern Region.  The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 in New York City’s Union Square. The demonstration will begin at 11:00 am and end at 6:00 pm. Attendees will be chained together to protest the Turkish government’s denial of the Armenian Genocide, America’s complacency toward genocide denial, and the continuation of genocide today.  Following the event there will be a shuttle bus to take people to the ANC of New York’s event at the Armenian Center in Woodside, NY.

The Central Executive and Central Hai Tahd Committee strongly encourage all AYF members and friends to join us in New York for these events. This peaceful protest will demonstrate the power of our unity in taking a stand for truth and justice. Our chance for recognition is close; change is near and it will be ushered in by us.
