AYF Pre-Olympic Kick-Off in the City of Providence
8:00 PM - 1:00 AM - Courtyard by Marriott, 32 Exchange Terrace, Providence, RI. AYF Olympic attendees start Olympics on a HYE note at the Courtyard by Marriott on Thursday night!
Join us for a special party to kick-off the weekend’s events to celebrate the 76th AYF Olympics with all your friends! We have the entire lobby bar/restaurant area with music and a cash bar. Come join us for a great night!
Admission is $10 per person
8:00 PM - 12 AM - Gallery Z, 259 Atwells Ave., Providence, RI. A night for everyone. Come enjoy Gallery Z's beautiful art featuring the best of American and Armenian artists such as Kevork Mourad, Robert Elibekian, Anet Abnous and Emma Grigorian, just to name a few. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for this event.

Friday
AYF/Alumni Golf Tournament - 7:45 AM registration, 8:30 AM shotgun start (scramble format) at Triggs Memorial Golf Course located at 1533 Chalkstone Ave. Providence, RI 02908 (401-521-8460). Contact Steve Elmasian for more information (stephenelmasian@yahoo.com or 401-573-7888).

Swim Meet - 5:00 PM Start - Seekonk High School located at 261 Arcade Avenue, Seekonk, MA 02771.
Providence’s Unforgettable Alumni Reception - 8 PM to 1 AM - Rhode Island Convention Center. Enjoy a night of fabulous food and wonderful Armenian music while reuniting with friends from around the country!
Entertainment will be provided by Hachig Kazarian (clarinet), Joe Kouyoumdjian (oud and background vocals), Ken Kalajian (guitar) and Jason Naroian (dumbeg and vocals).
Tickets are $20 per person. Discounted admission is available via a 2009 AYF Olympics Hye Pass.
AYF Dance - 9 PM to 3 AM at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Enjoy non-stop music and dancing to the fabulous music of the Artsakh Band and DJ Harout!

Saturday
Softball Tournament/Picnic - 9 AM to 4 PM - Masonic Youth Grounds located at 116 Long Street, Warwick, RI 02886.
Please join us for the most relaxing day of the Olympics weekend with a joint AYF softball tournament and picnic. The picnic will include an array of home-cooked food.
Admission is free.
Saturday Night Dance - 9 PM to 2 AM - Rhode Island Convention Center.
Entertainment will be provided by The Aravod Ensemble with Mal Barsamian.
Tickets are $20 per person. Discounted admission is available via a 2009 AYF Olympics Hye Pass.
Saturday Night Hook Up - Rhode Island Convention Center immediately following the Saturday Night Dance. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Harout.
Admission is $10 per person (free if you attended the Saturday Night Dance).
Sunday
Track & Field - 8 AM Start - Cranston High School West located at 80 Metropolitan Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920. Seating for Opening Ceremonies will be promptly at 11:30 AM.
Sunday Night Grand Ball - 9 PM to 3 AM - Rhode Island Convention Center. Join us for the AYF Olympics Awards ceremony along with the finest in Armenian music featuring the 2009 AYF All-Stars: Onnik Dinkjian (vocals), Hachig Kazarian (clarinet), Ara Dinkjian (keyboard), John Berberian (oud), Carnig Mikitarian (saxophone), Bruce Gigarjian (dumbeg), Jason Naroian (dumbeg and vocals) and Paul Mooradian (tambourine).
Tickets are $25 per person. Discounted admission is available via a 2009 AYF Olympics Hye Pass.
Sunday Night Hook Up - Rhode Island Convention Center, immediately following the Grand Ball. Featuring The Aravod Ensemble and DJ Harout.
Admission is $10 per person (free if you attended the Sunday Night Grand Ball)
Monday
Farewell Picnic - 10 AM to 3 PM - Sts. Vartanantz Church - Enjoy a delicious shish, losh or chicken kebab dinner before you say good-bye to family and friends and make your travels back home.
Music will be provided by the Providence AYF Alumni All-Stars.
